Integration of ESI ProCAST for Rus-Engineering LLC

Nova-Engineering Company has implemented the project of ProCast software for the needs of repair-mechanical base (Branch of Rus-Engineering Company in Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai).

Within the framework of the open competition, the company introduced advanced engineering software ProCAST and developed unique techniques to reduce casting defects, increase the yield of suitable products, promptly develop new complex products, quickly and accurately design tooling for the Savelli molding line installed in 2017.

"Today, it is difficult to imagine modern production without modeling casting processes. Any company strives to reduce costs, the development time of new products to be competitive, cost-effective. One of the tools that we decided to use is engineering analysis and modeling. In the coming year, we plan to calculate more than 100 types of castings and significantly reduce the percentage of unusable products. We thank our partners for their help and assistance in implementing new solutions," commented Evgeny Leontiev, General Director of the Achinsk Repair Plant.

As part of the software implementation project, the company's employees were trained for further independent work with ProCAST software and methods for calculating typical Customer tasks. All the methods were developed based on modeling the technology of actual production at the plant: "Trough", "Working wheel", "Tread". Separate reports on these tasks can be found in the Projects section on our website. We reduced the amount of porosity in the castings and significantly increased the yield of the suitable material.
